McCabe Builders (Dublin) Ltd is committed to:

  1. Implementing standards of health, safety and welfare that comply with the provisions and requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989 / OHSAS 18001, and all other relevant statutory provisions and codes of practice.

  2. Providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, safe systems of work and to protect employees and others, in so far as they come into contact with foreseeable work hazards.

  3. Ensuring that all McCabes personnel are informed of the Company Health & Safety Policy through their Safety Induction to the Company, and ongoing Safety Training.

  4. Making available the Health & Safety Policy to interested third parties.

  5. Providing employees with the information, training and supervision that they need to work safely and efficiently and to develop safety awareness among employees and sub-contractors.

  6. Defining all individual responsibilities for health and safety obligations.

  7. Encouraging full and effective joint consultation, with employees and third parties, on all health and safety matters.

  8. The Continual Improvement of their Safety Management System, and to ensuring that it is periodically reviewed to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to McCabes.

To ensure that the above objectives are met I together with our Directors, Contracts Managers and Project Managers are committed to playing an active role in the implementation of the Health & Safety Policy and undertake to review and revise it in the light of experience and developments.
